Munich Coding School

Digitalisation vastly and rapidly changes society, especially the labour market. And while the Fourth Industrial Revolution is enabling new opportunities, it’s also contributing to a widening inequality gap.

To close the growing digital divide in Germany, Munich Hubs aims to teach middle-school students between the ages of 8-12 from weak socioeconomic backgrounds the basics of coding. Our tutors use a hands-on, two-month curriculum to introduce and build coding capabilities and integrate coding frameworks into traditional lesson planning. The initiative is based on the voluntary work of young professionals to prepare students for the labour market of tomorrow.

100 students empowered with coding skills.
