The Global Shapers Community’s Muscat Hub, in partnership with Outward Bound Oman, are running a young leaders program to encourage twenty young Omanis to get involved in discussions related to some of the world’s areas of impact; climate change & sustainability, employment & future of work and equity & inclusion. Streaming their potential towards achieving the audacious aspirations of Oman’s Vision 2040 and WEF’s Great Reset initiative in an immersive five day outdoor program at Al Sharqiyah Desert.

The Oman Future Global Leaders is a five day program situated in the Omani desert of Al Sharqiyah, isolated from all distractions and social media platforms, provides a getaway for participants to take a step back from reality and obtain the bigger picture of the globe, and how they can contribute to an effective future.

A combination of an extended, shared challenge, integrated with a series of problem solving activities away from modern technology takes young people out of their comfort zones, into a powerful learning environment.
