Based on the background of the national policy of rural revitalization and promising beautiful countryside, the quality of rural housing and the improvement progress of the living environment in the countryside are need to be developed. Guangdong, as a province with the highest GDP in the country, the progress of rural reconstruction and overall countryside economic vitality are lagged compared to those in Jiangsu, Zhejiang ,and Shanghai. 

The team is composed of talents with backgrounds in construction, finance, and education. The Shapers are committed to the design and construction of beautiful countryside and rural revitalization. Starting from the creative renewal, transformation, and reconstruction of rural space, relying on the unique resources and environment of the countryside, the hub adapts measures to local conditions and actively use sustainable materials. What Shapers would like to have an impact on are through the construction of the cultural entity carrier of the countryside library, revitalizing the vitality of rural culture and economy, and stimulating the attractiveness of rural areas.

Goals:

1. Through on-site visits to different villages in Guangdong Province, combine and analyze the collected infos and output a report on the current situation of Guangdong rural area living situation. Apart from the basic report, the hub aims to select one of the village sites that we visited to propose, design, and formulate the village library construction proposal.


2. With the proposal, the hub would like to present it to the village/city government in which it is located to gain resources support if approved.


3. The report and proposal will be an insightful reflection of the current development of the rural living area for future innovative/sustainable life-improving infrastructure/ space creation.
