Problem Statement: Young people in Morelia need and want to raise awareness about urban mobility, road safety as well as civic responsibility with the objective of improving the quality of life of Morelia's citizens though a safer and more friendly city.

Target Group: Citizens of Morelia.

Proposed Solution: Through urban interventions at the City's traffic lights, Global Shapers will wear their names and inspirational quotes printed on t-shirts and raise citizens' awareness to improve the city's collective culture.

Hub Activities: The hub is participating in eight different urban interventions in which Shapers will try to generate more awareness specifically among car drivers.

Short & Long-Term Goals/Results: 

• Maximum number of citizens trained on road safety, urban mobility and civic responsibility


• Decrease of overall number of road accidents


• Reduce the quantity of garbage trashed in the streets


• Empower citizens to take action in our city

• 5,000 citizens impacted and exposed to urban interventions


• 200 citizens trained
