Premio Inclusion Ing Kohanoff

This national contest is promoted by the Cuidarte Foundation in line with the Ministry of Social Development of Tucumán, Global Shapers Tucumán, public institutions, non-governmental organizations, family members and people committed to the important work carried out by Ing. Rafael Kohanoff, the social scope and economic of the same and the spirit of improvement of which he was an example.


After several years of success as an industrial entrepreneur and the export of technologies to Latin America, he collaborated in different government administrations and the direction of the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI), where he created the ¨Centro de Tecnología para la Salud y Discapacidad¨ . Its purpose was to develop and transfer technology to the most vulnerable sector: poor and disabled people. He was awarded by the OAS for the "Technological and Social Productive Program" as the first at the international level, and later created many more, articulating with various countries. Kohanoff has been distinguished nationally and internationally on numerous occasions, but the most relevant thing is that Rafael made an impact in the future, his main message is to have found the meaning of life in helping others.


The objectives of the project are:


  • Grant an incentive award to young innovators, to develop devices or applications that improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.

  • Put on stage the creative talent as well as the spirit of coexistence so necessary in our society.

  • Propose a space for motivation, experimentation, production and creation of virtuous circles among students, professionals, companies, official and private institutions, to finally award prototypes that can generate an improvement in the quality of life for people with disabilities.
