Elections are a crucial part of any democracy across the world. In Nigeria, over the course of the past 3 election cycle, there has been a steady decline in voter registration and increased political apathy. For example, in the 2019 general elections, according to the INEC, out of 200 million Nigeria among which more than 60% fall within the voting bracket only 83 million registered to vote and only 32.3% of that number voted.
