Problem Statement

The little or no interest in reading in the adolescents of our community is evident, in addition to that in many public educational institutions they lack the necessary didactic material for the better understanding of the students, it is also another cause that motivates us to carry out this project.

Target Group

We want to focus our efforts and somehow satisfy the didactic need of an educational center in primary school students

Proposed Solution

It was agreed to hold a Reading Corner as an activity. It will consist of creating an interactive space in a school where children can read with peace of mind and enrich their knowledge, as well as sharing the habit of reading with their classmates.

Hub Activities

Book Collection Campaign, It was agreed to produce promotional art for the book collection campaign. This art will be published on Global Shapers Tegucigalpa's social media channels, all members of the group are asked to share the campaign's art and information on their social media and with their family and friends to encourage participation.

Short and Long-term Goals/Results

Obtain as many books and donations for the construction of the bookshelf and be able to see the project completed before the return to school of the children, who will find a very pleasant surprise that will encourage them to develop the habit of reading.
