Established in January 2022, Recycle Dalat aims to protect the environment and develop a green community in Da Lat, Vietnam through 3 criteria: Cognition-Recycle-Restoration. These criteria are linked to 3 respective parts of the project: 

(1) Raising awareness of environmental issues and support for vulnerable communities; 

(2) Classifying and recycling plastic wastes; 

(3) Planting trees in national parks to restore degraded forests. 

Recycle Dalat aims to develop a green community in Da Lat through our activities. We place particular emphasis on youths and vulnerable communities, helping them embark on a journey to a more sustainable and responsible lifestyle.

In 2023 (year-to-date), Recycle Dalat collected and recycled around 8,553 kg of recyclable waste, planted around 7000 trees, organised 5 exhibitions and 23 workshops which engaged around 15,000 people and our outreach campaigns touched the lives of around 434,000 individuals Recycle Dalat’s team consists of members from Vietnam, Singapore and Myanmar. Each member brings their local flair and perspective, helping Recycle Dalat think global, act local. This partnership culminated in us holding 2 in-person workshops in Myanmar and 1 online workshop with 101 Southeast Asian youths.

Recycle Dalat is looking to scale up our project. Currently, we are sourcing for more grants and potential partners.

Recycle Dalat attempts to protect the environment and develop a community with a green lifestyle.
