Ripple Series

India, like many other nations, has plunged into an unprecedented health as well as an economic crisis owing to Covid-19. Resultantly, the government has been adopting a constantly-evolving approach to stabilize this two-fold emergency.

To better understand and learn from the ramifications of this situation and how it is being controlled at a grass-root level, the Bhubaneswar Hub held the 1st session of the Ripple Series on 2 September 2020, through a webinar titled 'COVID-19 and the Ripple Effect - Fighting on the Frontlines from a Covid Warzone' with Mr. Siddharth Shankar Swain and Mr. Chakravartisingh Rathore, officers of the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) posted in Ganjam district, Odisha. The project was conceptualized by Avijit Tripathy, moderated by Apurv Mishra, coordinated by Philip Mannius Zudemberg, Sabuja Behera & Krishna Moharana. The successive sessions of the Ripple series are on the way to explore the effect of lesser obvious fields. For instance, the effect of lockdown and of COVID-19 on the flower industry or on the economy of roadside eateries in India.
