RUTA ODS

Problem

Pereira is a city with little knowledge about sustainable development goals -SDG- (ODS in Spanish) and the 2030 Agenda. In this sense, RUTA ODS is created because of the need to generate accessible information, knowledge and appropriation for the social, entrepreneurial and citizen sectors on the 17 sustainable development goals and their implementation in the city.

Solution

The project generates valuable relationships based on collective pedagogy, knowledge generation and multi-sectoral articulation focused on linking interest groups relevant to the 2030 Agenda.

Goals

In the first stage of the project, RUTA ODS will create a sustainable development observatory that has the following objectives:

  1. Build an observatory on sustainability and SDGs focused on research and monitoring of government initiatives, knowledge and evolution of indicators for the city of Pereira and other regional and national contexts around the 2030 agenda.

  2. Generate spaces for academic training formal and informal for the Areandina community, Global Shapers Hub Pereira community and society in general focused on Sustainability and SDGs.

  3. Design and implement interactive pedagogical strategies for Pereira citizens, in order to generate knowledge around the 2030 Agenda, which impact different audiences of interest.

  4. Evaluate the impact of the training and intervention processes carried out by the SDG think tank on the different audiences of interest to determine the continuity or variation of the processes or programs designed for the city of Pereira.
