Sacramento Shapers are connecting local business owners with the city's bike rack program to install additional bike parking in Sacramento.

If successful, this project will:

• Support environmentally-friendly modes of transit.


• Improve security of bicycles.


• Promote an active lifestyle.

Goals:

This program will be focused on the major urban centers of Sacramento, with the main goal of reducing dependence on motor vehicles. Less motor vehicles in urban centers will lead to improved air quality, less noise pollution, and a more healthy community. The Hub's metric of success is the installation of 5 new bike racks within 1 year.
