Without healthy nutrition children and elderly people are mostly vulnerable to diseases and impairments. With Covid 19 affecting the economies of most families it has become hard for them to provide better nutrition for the young ones and elderly members. Safe Hands project's goal is to alleviate hunger in vulnerable communities in Botswana through collection, packaging and delivery of food donations once a month for a period of a year. Safe Hands shall achieve this through a donation network of local food growers, charity organisations, corporate sponsors, retailers, wholesalers and restaurants. The project targets children aged 5-12 years and elderly aged 65+.
