Scale360° Circular Innovation Program by the World Economic Forum, fast-tracks Fourth Industrial Revolution impact in the circular economy by bringing together public and private sector leaders and innovators to jumpstart collaboration for circular innovation.

The Scale 360º Circular Innovation Morelia Program aims to incorporate and accelerate the circular economy transition to become a sustainable city and be an innovation leader in the region;

Salma Melissa Mohammadiyan, Angel Cortes and Abiram Rodriguez are the leaders for this program.

Our Partnership with the Scale 360ª started when our leader Salma Melissa Mohammadiyan did the Circular Economy and Innovation Training Intervention to the Government of Yucatan with the program Scale 360º Circular Innovation Mexico City.

Our Challenge Definition: How might we implement the Circular Economy program with specialized stakeholders so that we innovate and worke on the SDG goals in order to be a

sustainable city?

Our Official Partnership is established as part of the second pilot programme co-launched by Scale360º and the Global Shapers in September 2021 and now after 2 years we are still working together with the Scale360º Circular Innovation Program from the World Economic Forum.

Our esteemed group of leading experts across business, public sector and civil society guides our advisory board including:

  • Circular Economy and Innovation Training

Overall, in the two years it has been active, Scale360º Morelia has directly impacted 12,000 people through interventions with the support of over 50 stakeholders who provided resources.

This has resulted in an indirect impact of 83,000 people, approximately the equivalent of 9% of the population, through the collaboration of industries, government, education, civil society, and national and international allies.

Our most significant achievement, and one that we cannot provide an exact updated figure for, is that today Morelia, the small city that fought to be part of this program, is generating employment, over 15 projects focused on Circular Economy, including workshops, business models, collection of over 700 kilograms of solid waste, mapping of 40 collection centers in the city, and agendas with a primary focus on Circular Economy and Innovation.
