The SDG Unplugged Talk Series is a vital initiative driven by Global Shapers Jammu Hub. The mission is to unite young leaders from Jammu and Kashmir to create a wave of positive change through social impact projects, with a particular emphasis on advocating for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The SDGs, a global call to action, aim to eradicate poverty, inequality, protect our planet, and ensure universal well-being. Through this series, the hub provides a platform for SDG leaders, activists, and policymakers to share their journeys with students from colleges across Jammu and Kashmir. The goal is to inspire and nurture the spirit of entrepreneurship aligned with the SDGs, ultimately contributing to the achievement of the United Nations 2030 global goals.

Hub activities:

• On 11 February 2023, the hub successfully conducted the first SDG Unplugged series, with a focus on SDG 13 – Climate Action. The first talk series was attended by 30 students and professors from the masters program in International Business Management from Jammu University.


• Every year, the hub intends to conduct 2 to 3 SDG Unplugged Talk Series sessions to inspire and ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth aligned with the SDGs.
