SEED - Social Emotional Learning and Entrepreneurial Development

Problem statement: Around 50% of primary school students have lower learning levels than their appropriate grades, which has been intensified by the pandemic. This has far-reaching implications for the readiness of Indian youth for 21st Century skills. Education 4.0 aligns with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and caters to the needs of the schools' and the children’s future. SEED bridges the gap of educational institutions and Education 4.0 with the right need analysis and Connecting the Unconnected.


Target Group: School students and school teachers.


Proposed Solution: The hus is working on three pillars in skilling, which are: entrepreneurship, social emotional learning and livelihood lab like 21st Century skills and financial literacy.


Hub Activities: The hub will engage in curriculum design, partnerships, school onboarding, delivering of cohorts, sessions, masterclasses and documentation of the entire project.


Short Term Goals:


  • 5 Partnerships with enablers like UNICEF, Govt of Rajasthan, Planning Commission of India

  • 10 Schools to be onboarded to start with and weekly engagement consistently.


Long Term Goals:


  • 30 Schools to be impacted in a year long program

  • 10 partnerships to maximise the impact, and to find ways to work with Govt on Policy front for the proposed education reforms

Project Collaborators: The hub intends to onboard UNICEF and the proposal is under discussion. The hub has confirmation from 2 schools and 2 organisations working with schools directly.
