SHAPE Charlotte was established to inspire economic development and job creation in Charlotte. SHAPE Charlotte is an innovative business model competition created for, and by, the next generation of leaders. SHAPE Charlotte fosters an entrepreneurial spirit among those 35 years of age or younger by empowering participants to act as agents of change through innovation and ultimately job creation.

Teams submit business ideas, work with mentors to develop those ideas throughout a four-week mentorship period, present those ideas to a panel of judges and potential investors, and winning teams receive seed capital from the Charlotte Global Shapers.

This is the second year of SHAPE Charlotte.
