Problem Statement: We're living in fast changing and uncertain times. Distrust is brewing, people don't feel heard, inequality is rising, and an environmental crisis is upon us. But with these challenges come an opportunity to shape our communities to be more inclusive. Citizens of Vancouver need to hear more perspectives on social and economic issues.

Target Group: Citizens of Vancouver / BC, Canada.

Proposed Solution: Vancouver Hub founded and produced a podcast series to bring new voices to the table and to take an in-depth look at established norms and current issues. Four episodes (on structural poverty, the psychology of climate science, intersectional feminism and youth in politics) were published to Spotify between January - October 2020. The hub hosted members and candidates for local government and community members from nonprofits and beyond.

Hub Activities: Plan, invite guests to, host, produce and publish 4 episodes of a podcast bringing new voices and open dialogue to the Vancouver / BC community.
