Shape the Future: Empowering Youth for Sustainable Development

Project overview (Summary): The project aims to increase a significant role of young people, who are the custodians of the future, in achieving a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world. In an era where global concerns such as climate change, environmental degradation, and economic inequities are becoming increasingly serious, it is critical to empower the next generation to be active change-makers and leaders in establishing a more sustainable future. As a result, this project is intended to establish an atmosphere in which young people are not only educated about sustainability but also actively involved in projects that contribute to local, national, and global sustainable development. To achieve this goal, it is planned to educate youth about the principles of sustainability, climate change, and economic growth within the project, provide them with opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and skill-building, and encourage them to pursue entrepreneurship and small business initiatives that promote sustainable products and services.

Target Group: The future is represented by youth. Empowering the next generation with the information, skills, and competencies needed to achieve sustainable development enables them to address the difficult problems and opportunities that lie ahead. For this reason, the primary audience of the project is young people. It is thought that if young people are given the information and chances to develop and engage in decision-making processes through this initiative, they can and will create and be a force for SD.
