Shaper Action
Problem Statement
Small acts of kindness, from holding a door open to paying for another person's cup of coffee, can create a bright spot in someone else's day. Studies have even shown that performing acts of kindness can positively impact a person's health. But mostly, performing these acts can bring a community together.
Target Group
Citizens of Culiacan in need.
Proposed Solution
Shaper Action is a project launched by the Culiacan Hub that was born at the beginning of the confinement due to the COVID19 pandemic. Aiming to make "a chain of favors" where each shaper had to do at least one humanitarian work per month and with a direct impact on someone.
Hub Activities
With this project, we seek to generate an impact in solidarity with the community through the consumption of local products, donation of clothing, donation of food pantries, volunteer work, purchase of medicines for people with limited resources, to name a few.
Short & Long-Term Goals/Results
Provide support and solidarity to citizens of Culiacan during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Available Metrics
More than 50 people were directly and indirectly impacted over a period of 2 months.
