Global Shapers Amsterdam hub launched Shaping Fashion in 2018. A global initiative to scale sustainable transformations in the fashion industry through the Global Shapers network in partnership with Fashion Revolution. Over the years the cross-hub collaboration included over >55 different hubs! Every year during Fashion Revolution Week in April hubs collaborate with local teams of industry experts to organize events, workshops, clothes swaps and film screenings to push for change in their communities. Beyond that, hubs co-create longer term projects with lasting positive impact on the sustainability of the fashion industry.

Next to coordinating the cross-hub project, the Global Shapers Amsterdam hub has organized Shaping Fashion Nights during Fashion Revolution Week 2018 and 2019. Two hackathon-style evenings at Fashion For Good Center in Amsterdam. Around 40-50 people gathered to help sustainable fashion initiatives overcome their challenges and provide feedback on transparency initiatives in the fashion industry like Sustainable Apparel Coalition's tools and the Goodonyou app.
