Shaping the Future of Health 2023

The "Shaping the Future of Health" Project is part of the reskilling program framework focused on technological literacy and the development of soft skills, executed by Osasco Hub.

Developed in collaboration with the Lenovo Foundation and United Way Brazil, this educational program aims to generate a significant social impact on public health for students from the public network of Osasco.

Over a period of four months, students were immersed in learning experiences that promoted technological literacy and the development of soft skills, empowering them to create practical solutions for significant public health challenges in Osasco. This included issues such as the scarcity of access to medical specialists and inefficiencies in the scheduling systems for consultations and examinations.

The program featured dynamic workshops conducted by Osasco Hub and was complemented by ongoing support from educators, access to health professionals, and personalized mentoring with Lenovo employees. This integrated approach fostered the emergence of various innovative solutions, including virtual systems for mental health support and platforms for scheduling and monitoring medical appointments via WhatsApp.

With a participation rate of over 70% in all proposed activities, the project directly impacted more than 100 people, including educators and students. The results were remarkable: the development of more than 10 innovative projects and improvement in 100% of the competencies focused during the program, with significant advancements (over 50%) in more than 60% of these skills.

To ensure the sustainability and continuity of these initiatives, more than R$10,000 in educational technology kits were donated to public institutions, in partnership with Orange Maker. Additionally, in collaboration with Dio.me, a World Economic Forum (WEF) Champion startup, more than R$20,000 in scholarships were awarded to students involved in the project.
