Shaping The Future Sabin 2023

The “Shaping The Future Sabin” is part of the reskilling program framework focused on technological literacy and the development of soft skills - executed by the Osasco Hub.

Implemented in partnership with Colégio Albert Sabin, this initiative delivers future-proof skills to high school students and challenges them to develop innovative projects to address challenges listed in the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report.

Throughout the year, students learn skills such as Technological Literacy, Creative Thinking, Resilience and Flexibility, Lifelong Learning, among others. All of this through the production of a curriculum based on the World Economic Forum’s 4.0 Taxonomy and accompanied by the Shaping The Future soft Skills development measurement tool.

The project development also engaged the school community, whether through articulation with the National Common Curricular Base (development of school content and pedagogical proposals at a national level) or through the support of the entire school team in holding the closing event. Thus, in addition to teachers, the project had the participation of more than 40 members of the Global Shapers Community as expert evaluators, bringing the perspective of those who work with social impact.

In total, more than 150 projects were developed by over 700 students, addressing various global risks with solutions involving technology, new materials, social mobilizations, among others. The standout projects are directed to the Brazilian Science and Engineering Fair, and the responsible students were also awarded unique experiences in the fields of their project development.
