Impact

Skilling for the future

Background: Young adults in Male’, transitioning from high school, college, and the State care system, lack crucial life and employable skills. Skills in career guidance, financial literacy, CV building, and computer literacy are essential for successful adulthood and community contribution. The Maldivian government's initiatives, such as improved infrastructure and educational opportunities, are commendable. However, youth face challenges due to insufficient career guidance and skill sets for the job market. A low-cost approach relies on strategic partnerships, minimizing financial barriers and ensuring program sustainability.

Objectives: The Male' Hub aims to equip young adults (16-25 years) with tailored sessions on career guidance, financial literacy, CV building, and computer literacy.
