Social Entrepreneurship Labs

Social Entrepreneurship Labs is an immersive initiative designed to equip college students with the skills and knowledge to create social impact through entrepreneurship. The Labs consist of six consecutive sessions; each focused on a different aspect of social entrepreneurship and design thinking.

During the Labs, students work in teams to identify social problems and conduct user research to gain insights into the needs of their target audience. Students ideate and generate innovative ideas using design thinking principles before developing and prototyping their solutions. Throughout the Labs, students test and iterate their prototypes with users, working towards scaling their solutions and creating actionable implementation plans.

In addition to hands-on learning, the Social Entrepreneurship Labs feature guest speakers from the social entrepreneurship community who share their experiences and insights with students. By the end of the Labs, students will have gained a deep understanding of social entrepreneurship and design thinking. They will have developed the skills and confidence to experiment and different prototypes on their chosen problem statements.

Overall, the Social Entrepreneurship Labs provide a unique and transformative learning experience for students interested in creating positive change in the world.
