Solid waste management is a very big problem across the country. Band needs an immediate organized approach as people are just dumping waste. The Ahmedabad Hub is trying to bring a solution to stop the dumping by creating awareness, training housekeeping staff on the collection of segregated waste, recycling food waste and sending dry waste to the end recycler. This would reduce the dumping, which would in turn lessen the generation of methane gas ultimately affecting climate change and the air quality of the city.

Following are the objectives:

1. The primary objective is to create an awareness of waste segregation, providing resources, and training housekeeping staff who daily collects waste.


2. The secondary objective is to monitor the habitual change that has been brought by continuous awareness and send the waste to the recycler.


3. The final objective is to make the entire cycle self-sustainable so that more parts of the city can be covered.
