Solidarity Bazaar

Women need to get access to a basic human need which is clothing.

Concerning this problem, Fortaleza Hub held a bazaar to distribute clothing in the city's needy communities. The purpose of this bazaar was:

  1. To help people in need to get access to a basic human need which is clothing.

  2. To raise awareness about our consumption habits while guaranteeing dignity.

The execution of the project took place within a store and people simulated the purchase of clothes with chips that were distributed.

The project started in June, 2017, and took place on the outskirts of Fortaleza in August, 2017, when it was finished.

In terms of short-term results, the people who participated in the action raised awareness about our consumption habits while guaranteeing dignity, receiving clothes donations.

As a matter of long term change, the woman could make use of the donated clothing. The rest of the data can’t be presented with precision, once the target group was not followed up. In the year of 2017, this kind of data was not required.
