Shapers For Venezuela Manizales
Sueños sin Fronteras is a humanitarian assistance project that seeks to combat xenophobia, integrate Venezuelan migrants and refugees into the Manizales community, and attend to their basic needs.
Sueños sin Fronteras was born from the high flow of Venezuelan migrants who began to arrive in our city, occupying the streets with their children in precarious conditions.
Goals
- Combat xenophobia through integration campaigns between the Manizales population and migrants.
- Attend to basic needs such as food, clothing and recreation for this population through support from our allies.
Outcomes
We have impacted around 1,700 people with the various activities that have been carried out throughout the project (over a year and a half) and financially we have invested 15,500 USD.
Timeline
The project started in Jan 2019 and is expected to continue as long as the Venezuelan migration continues.

According to the activities we have scheduled for the 2020-2021 cut, we need around 2,000 USD

Support to combat xenophobia globally through cross-hub projects and campaigns.
Knowledge
Experience in developing social projects, preferably with knowledge in migration.
Accompaniment in handling legal processes for the migrant population, general information that may be useful for migrants.
