The tree-planting campaign aimed to raise awareness about the problem of climate change. The city of Culiacán usually has high temperatures during most of the year, therefore, urban arborization is important to improve our environment.

The project was carried out at a park in a low-income neighbourhood during the months of April to June 2019. Prior to the intervention, the park had no trees, and its use was minimal because it had no shadows. Thanks to the donation of the National Reforestation Commission (CONAFOR), a total of 36 trees were planted thanks to the intervention of Global Shapers, Greenpeace Volunteers, and local neighbours.
