The project is committed to provide sustainable alternatives to practices/ products which are detrimental to the environment and also for our own well being.
The initiative has provided alternatives to products ranging from mosquito repellent coils (Mosquito repellent plants), Body Scrub , Floor cleaner to plastic bags.
Based on the current scenario of plastic ban in state, Sustainable Weekends is conducting paper bag making workshops for students, working people, house wives( who can earn by selling paper bags).
Sustainable Weekends aims to create awareness among people to change the daily practices contributing towards sustainable growth.
