Impact

Swachata Partner

The Jaipur Hub aims to address the issue of institutional waste. The problem is often not related to intent but knowledge. Based on our interactions and interviews with several organisations based in Jaipur, the hub members realised that the community is keen to address the issue of the waste they generate, but are unable to do so for 3 major reasons:

  1. Lack of Knowledge on Waste Management

  2. Inexperience with Implementation of Waste Management Initiatives

  3. No partnerships and lack of connections to support them

The hub's solution is primarily directed towards institutes with a secondary focus on training and education as an extension of the primary focus. Hub members will offer institutes in Jaipur help and support to minimize their waste and manage it effectively. The team has a three-pronged approach to doing so:

  1. Institutional Change

  2. Social Change

  3. Access to Waste Management Infrastructure
