Homelessness in Oxford takes many forms: from visible sleepers on the streets to invisible families that have fallen on hard times. To raise awareness for this pressing issue, Shapers created an alternative to street-based giving called Think Twice – a donation scheme that spanned a network of local shops, cafes and businesses and enabled customers to add an extra 50p to their bill. Endorsed by Oxford City Council, proceeds were then given to local charities that help people to rebuild their lives and find solutions to end homelessness for good. This project ended in 2015.
