In 2018 the Charlotte Global Shapers launched #ThoughtsBrewingCLT, a social initiative designed to spark conversation and connect community. The campaign’s goal is to create awareness about social issues in Charlotte and highlight local organizations tackling the issues. The initiative is executed through informational coasters in breweries and local gathering places throughout the city, and also through a digital campaign on several social media channels. The goal is to create awareness about social issues in our community and highlight local organizations tackling the issues, with the hopes that it would drive volunteerism and philanthropy.
