Nowadays, living in a clean city is becoming a privilege with today’s harsh ecological reality. Despite the fact, Tashkent has a good system of cleaning because of its ‘orange-vested’ heroes, who transform the city into a green, clean and well-planned beautiful place to live in. The wide roads with sidewalks divided by trees and flowers, lush green zones and gardens, with no pile of litter, which makes it more aesthetic, and which is thanks to street workers.

Global Shapers Tashkent Hub has started a several event social project in collaboration with ‘Share the Happiness’ Tashkent NGO.

The project is called ‘Angels of Cleanness’ which is directed to help and support the street workers of Tashkent city. Several events were held, in which Global Shapers Tashkent HUB and ‘Share the Happiness’ NGO, by the support of several individual volunteers went to the streets to help the workers, and clean the streets them selves which was followed by providing the workers essentials, warm clothes, sweets, and food which were purchased on fundraising.

Global Shapers Tashkent HUB agreed on the continuation of the project on a regular basis and raise the motion for advocacy in the future.
