Arusha's economy is largely dependent on its natural tourism. However, growing industrialization in the city could jeopardize this and erode feelings of environmental stewardship among residents too.

In light of this, the Hub runs regular tree planting drives in areas that are in the most need and hopes this will lend to a resurgence in the climate-conscious movement in the city.
