In an effort to sequester carbon to combat climate change, bring education to our local community, and help secure replacements for the 25% tree loss estimated in Boulder by 2030, our Hub will be working alongside the tree trust in their goal to plant 200 trees in Boulder County in 2020. We will be providing content and education to new tree owners on the value of their trees to our environment, the importance of its longevity and care.

Measurement: Our two main metrics are number of trees plantings supported in 2020 and projected carbon sequestered over the next 20 years.
