Insecurity is gradually becoming a menace in our society and is disrupting the farming cycle and volume of harvest available to people.

The Kaduna Global shapers team has partnered with the Center of Renewable Energy, Sustainable Technology and Development (CRESTAD) to help mitigate this food security challenge by training aspiring urban farmers within Kaduna and the Polytechnic community on sustainable agricultural practices by utilizing locally available and recycled resources to produce fresh farm produce for domestic and commercial use from their backyard spaces through greenhouse and open field farming.
