During the campaign period preceding the European Parliament election 2019, Shapers have organized a series of meetings aimed at raising awareness about the importance and impact of EU’s policies and institutions. Talks were delivered by Fabio Cassanelli, Francesco Pollari, Simone Bonamin and Andrea Barbero (Global Shapers Turin Hub) as well as Vittorio Quartetti and Simone Giatti (JEF Italy).

Topics included:

• European Circular Economy Package,
• Euipo and Intellectual Property,
• EU Foreign and Defense Policy,
• European Public Prosecutor.

The initiative was promoted by local press (La Stampa Torino) and the contents from the talks were incorporated in two episodes of Fabio Cassanelli’s podcast “Lo Stato dell’Unione” published in May and June.
