Victoria Hub Mentorship Programme

The Victoria Hub Mentorship Programme aimed to empower and inspire young students between the ages 14 to 16 years old to become confident, engaged, and capable citizens equipped with the knowledge and skills required to be active members of society.

Topics covered in the mentorship sessions included academics, building self-confidence, time management, dealing with stress and anxiety, study techniques, internet safety goal-setting and voluntary work opportunities.

Since 2017 to 2020, 26 shapers have been trained in mentorship skills and a total of 25 students (9 in the first cohort and 16 in the 2nd cohort) from the Independent School (a private school) in Seychelles have benefited and graduated from the programme.

The second iteration of the programme which comprised of six 3-hour sessions was successfully delivered in March 2020 to September 2020 with a graduation ceremony at the end of the programme to honour the mentees’ accomplishment.
