This project aims to provide valuable support, knowledge, and networking opportunities to help students succeed in their careers through various initiatives.


Hub Activities

1. Three-month 1-on-1 mentorship / coaching on career development.

2. To organize small online / offline job fair for graduate students and companies matching each other to narrow the information gap.

3. To organize upskilled and practical workshops / industry sharing for graduate students on career planning, application guidance, etc.

4. To learn the best practices from 102 international sister cities of Guangzhou (roughly around 60 GSC hubs included) by organizing regular online coffee chat.


Goals

Short term

Help graduate students to build confidence and mental health / lower the expectation to overcome the circumstances


Long-term

Narrow the information gap between graduate students and companies, decrease the unemployed rate for graduate students



  • To organize 3-4 small online / offline job fair for graduate students and companies each year.

  • To organize 1-2 upskilled and practical workshops each year.

  • To organize 1-2 three-month 1-on-1 mentorship / coaching on career development each year.

  • To help 30-50 graduate students from the universities / youth who cannot find the job on career development each year.

  • Quarterly online coffee chat with 3-4 international sister cities of Guangzhou;

  • Collaboration with 12-16 GSC hubs each year.

  • Collaboration with 1-2 HR recruitment firms each year.

  • Collaboration with 2-3 universities each year.

  • Collaboration with 5 companies each year.
