Continuing to fight gender inequality in Egypt as an extension of their successful 2017 hub project, Giza Global Shapers are expanding their efforts to provide training for young women interested in entering the tech industry. In partnership with a local organization, 15 young women will participate in a 2-week program to learn about the foundations of programming and front-end web development. Upon completion programme, the top performers from the group will continue with an additional 14-week programme that includes professional skills development such as leadership, communications and time management. The programme will run from 18 January to 1 March 2019.

In 2017-2018, we aim to raise 5500 USD to train 25 female coders. We aim to train 25 female coders by 2018.
