Launched in April 2015, You Are Not Alone, was an initiative designed to bring increased awareness on autism and provide support outlets to impacted families. Initiative highlights included:
- An art exhibition promoting the art work of a talented autistic female artist with the goal of showcasing abilities and talents of people with this disorder. The art work was silently auctioned and proceedings have gone directly to the artists.
- A panel discussion between autism specialists and parents of autistic children with episodes on success stories.
- Workshops given by autism experts that included various aspects of autism from early detection to speech therapy.
- A live broadcast of the event via Youtube to serve as a resource to the community.
- A mobile application was developed, sponsored by the Ministry of Health, which serves as a resource for the whole Kingdom. The app is made available for both Apple and Android devices.
