Masarak

Addressing the persistent challenge of high unemployment rates among university students and recent graduates in Jordan, Masarak project focuses on enhancing soft skills crucial for the contemporary job market.


The target group consists of university students and fresh graduates seeking to improve their employability during the transitional phase from academia to the professional world and the proposed solution involves instilling confidence and professionalism through bootcamps, like the two-day intensive Masarak, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical job requirements.


Amman Hub's activities include interactive workshops on networking, CV writing, and professional conduct, providing participants with essential tools for job-seeking.


The short-term goals include empowering participants, immediate job application readiness, and skill enhancement, while long-term goals aim for reduced youth unemployment and the establishment of a scalable program framework.


Project indicators encompass the number of speakers, participants, attendance, completion rates, and participant feedback and the collaborating with Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) at the King Hussein Business Park, the project reflects a commitment to addressing the employability problem faced by Jordanian youth.
