Youth Entrepreneurship Sprint

Problem Statement: High school students require education and exposure to social entrepreneurship, especially in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, to understand its significance and be inspired to contribute positively.

Target Group: High school students, particularly those aged 15-17.

Proposed Solution: The Youth Entrepreneurship Sprint is a comprehensive 3-day event specially crafted to introduce high school students to the realm of social entrepreneurship, emphasizing its relevance to the UN SDGs. Through this initiative, students are not only educated but are also given a platform to present their innovative ideas, thereby fostering a sense of responsibility and purpose.

Hub Activities: Collaborating with The World Academy at KAEC to execute the 3-day event. Engaging students in interactive sessions about social entrepreneurship and its alignment with the UN SDGs. Organizing a competition where students pitch their ideas related to social entrepreneurship. Offering the winners an esteemed opportunity to present their ideas at the MIT enterprise forum, providing them with exposure and feedback from industry experts.

Short & Long-Term Goals/Results:


  • Short-Term: To successfully conduct the 3-day event, ensuring the participation and active engagement of over 20 high school students.

  • Long-Term: To inculcate a deep understanding and appreciation for social entrepreneurship among students, inspiring them to incorporate the UN SDGs in their future entrepreneurial ventures and potentially drive social change.

Available Metrics: The Youth Entrepreneurship Sprint witnessed the participation of over 20 high school students aged 15-17. Post-event, the winning ideas were presented at the renowned MIT enterprise forum.
