Youth4Change: Long-term Thinking
Problem Statement:
Youth4Change: Long-term Thinking aims to address the lack of responsible behavior and sustainable thinking among young individuals aged 16 to 27, particularly regarding UN Sustainable Development Goals #12 and #13 on responsible consumption and climate action.
Target Group: The project targets young participants aged 16 to 27, with a focus on fostering responsible behavior and sustainable thinking. Proposed Solution: The project proposes empowering young participants through workshops, discussions, and the "World Cafe" format to explore responsible consumption and climate action, aiming to create positive environmental change.
Hub Activities:
1. Organizing workshops and discussions.
2. Implementing the "World Cafe" format.
3. Facilitating exploration of responsible consumption and climate action.
Short-term and Long-term Goals:
Short-term: Raise awareness and knowledge among participants on responsible consumption and climate action.
Long-term: Foster a culture of responsible behavior and sustainable thinking among young individuals, leading to tangible environmental impact.
Available Metrics:
Output Metrics: Number of participants, gender distribution, countries represented, universities and high schools represented.
Impact Metrics: Increase in knowledge and awareness among participants, adoption of responsible behavior, and contribution to positive environmental change.
