Bangkok Hub, Thailand, hosted 145 Shapers from 30 countries for SHAPE APAC (Asia Pacific) from 18-22 October 2018.
Under the theme “The Green Evolution and Sustainable Lifestyle,” Shapers had the opportunity to visit Bangkok’s historical and cultural tourist attractions, while exploring sustainability in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Over 84 tonnes of CO2 produced was offset by planting an average of 22 trees per participant, making SHAPE APAC a carbon-neutral, plastic-free event and the greenest SHAPE to date.
Bangkok Hub took Shapers through the Khlong Toei district slums where they cooked, ate, and spoke with residents living in poverty.
At the same time, Shapers heard from experts in their fields on the future of blockchain and energy, food and agriculture and sustainable cities.
