# Shapers for Plastic Action

Shapers for Plastic Action is a community of young leaders within the Global Shapers Community working in partnership with the Global Plastic Action Partnership's to both implement change at the community-level and empower youth changemakers globally.Through our global campaign and challenge, #GenerationCircular, we are mobilizing young changemakers to design and implement solutions addressing plastic pollution across its full lifecycle. The initiative calls for innovative, collaborative, and future-oriented action that engages public and private sector stakeholders to advance more sustainable approaches to the production, use, and disposal of plastics.


## About the Global Plastic Action partnership

The Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP) is the World Economic Forum’s multistakeholder platform for translating commitments to address plastic pollution into concrete action. Founded in 2018 by a coalition of public, private and international institutions, GPAP brings together governments, businesses, and civil society to translate commitments into action at both the national and global levels. Working across 25 markets, GPAP is the largest initiative tackling plastic pollution.
