The onset of COVID-19, and consequent exponential spread caught everyone by surprise. The underprivileged and daily wage workers took the worst hit. While everyone coped with the crisis as best as they can, we, at the Chennai Hub did our part by spreading awareness about the common norms to be followed during pandemic and raised funds to help those in need. 

We conducted webinars, circulated posters and posted regular social media updates on the best ways to stay safe in the pandemic situation as well as government support schemes to ensure information reaches people across different spectra. This effort impacted about 2 lakh people in the city.
