Connecting Colombia seeks to connect all the people of the country with other citizens who have not been part of their daily lives. The project has two lines of work, the first is to generate information and meeting spaces between citizens of rural populations, victims of the armed conflict, ex-combatants and people from civil society with people from the intermediate cities of the country, and in this way contribute to the construction of peace from daily life. The second line consists of training and accompanying the initiatives coming from the demobilized members of the FARC-EP guerrilla group, the result of the peace process that Colombia had with this guerrilla group years ago. Through this second line, we seek to improve the economic conditions of these former combatants and put the Shaper network's capabilities to use to build new collaborative narratives around peace.
