The global Shapers Gaza hub collaborated with the Ele Elna Elak (What's ours is yours) campaign to raise money and distributing food parcels to the poor families that were affected by the COVID-19 restrictions.

On March 2020, the Palestinian Authority had declared emergency as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, restriction on movement was imposed. This had affected many families that their households who work in the informal market and depend on daily work to be able to feed their families.

As a result for this, the Ele Elna Elak campaign started raising money to help those families. The GSG hub decided to collaborate to boost the effort and increase the number of reached families.

Collectively, the campaign was able to provide food parcels to more than 500 families with an average of 6 members.
