People in Suriname, youth in particular, are insufficiently aware of what climate change is and what the extent of its consequences can and will be. To challenge young Surinamese citizens to come up with innovative ways to combat the causes and/or consequences of climate change, our hub created the competition ‘Green Young and Innovative.’ The aim is to transform the ideas of competition participants into concrete social enterprises.
